I explain the four Rs of recovery: restoring carbohydrates, rebuilding with protein, rehydrating, and revitalizing with micronutrients. I emphasize how timing and context play a big role in recovery nutrition, and I talk about how recovery shakes can be helpful but shouldn’t be the only option relied upon. I also review different recovery products and highlight the need to personalise nutrition based on individual needs and training demands.
